Plumbing Course at KIBS
The Plumbing course at KIBS Technical College equips students with practical skills to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems. Learners gain hands-on experience for professional roles in residential, commercial, and construction projects.
Introduction to Plumbing
Students learn practical skills such as pipe installation, water supply systems, drainage, and plumbing maintenance. The course prepares graduates to work as plumbers in construction sites, maintenance companies, and property developments. Graduates also gain the confidence to operate independently or start their own plumbing businesses.
Course Content
Students will gain practical knowledge and skills in:
• Principles of plumbing systems and materials
• Installation of water supply and drainage systems
• Sanitary fittings and plumbing fixtures
• Plumbing tools and equipment usage
• Leak detection and plumbing maintenance
• Plumbing safety standards and regulations
• Reading plumbing drawings and layouts
• Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• KCSE Certificate (Any grade)
• KCPE Certificate accepted
• Ability to read and write
• Interest in plumbing and technical work
3 – 6 Months (Depending on study mode)
